Weekend DetailsThe weekend begins Thursday evening and ends with Mass on Sunday. Mass is followed by a reception for retreatants, their families, and members of the ACTS community. Transportation is provided to and from the retreat center from Holy Trinity.
Message of ACTS
ACTS is an acronym for Adoration, Community, Theology, and Service. It is these four themes that are the focus of the weekend’s activities. ACTS is inspired by the ACTS of the Apostles 2:42-47: “They devoted themselves to the teaching of the apostles and to the communal life, to the breaking of the bread and to the prayers. Awe came upon everyone, and many wonders and signs were done through the apostles. All who believed were together and had all things in common; they would sell their property and possessions and divide them among all according to each one’s need. Every day they devoted themselves to meeting together in the temple area and to breaking bread in their homes. They ate their meals with exultation and sincerity of heart, praising God and enjoying favor with all the people. And every day the Lord added to their number those who were being saved.”
Purpose
The purpose of the ACTS weekend is to invite the retreatants into a new or deeper relationship with the Lord and with other faithful women and men through Adoration and daily prayer; Community awareness as a member of the Body of Christ; Theology encouraging more study of our faith and God’s word; and promoting the virtue of Service to our Lord and one another.
Goal
An ACTS retreat strives to achieve the directives of Vatican II and the goals of the Revised Code of Canon Law of 1983, emphasizing “Community and Pastoral Care” within a parish; that the participants experience God’s love and joy throughout the weekend, and return to the parish with a deeper love for each other and a desire to become more involved in the parish faith community. Though this is a Catholic faith-based retreat, all denominations are welcome!
Cost
The cost is $250, which includes a $125 registration deposit fee. The balance is due upon arrival Thursday evening at Holy Trinity before departure. This will cover all meals, lodging, and transportation between the retreat center and Holy Trinity.
DO NOT LET THE COST OF THE RETREAT KEEP YOU FROM PARTICIPATING!

Detalles del fin de semanaEl fin de semana comienza el jueves por la tarde y concluye con la Misa el domingo. Después de la Misa, habrá una recepción para los participantes del retiro, sus familias y miembros de la comunidad ACTS. Se proporciona transporte de ida y vuelta al centro de retiros desde Holy Trinity.
Mensaje de ACTS

ACTS se inspira en los Hechos de los Apóstoles 2,42-47: “Se mantenían firmes en la enseñanza de los apóstoles, en la comunión, en el partimiento del pan y en la oración. Todos estaban asombrados por los muchos prodigios y señales que realizaban los apóstoles. Todos los creyentes estaban juntos y tenían todo en común: vendían sus propiedades y posesiones, y compartían sus bienes entre sí según la necesidad de cada uno. No dejaban de reunirse unánimes en el Templo ni un solo día. De casa en casa partían el pan y compartían la comida con alegría y generosidad, alabando a Dios y disfrutando de la estimación general del pueblo. Y cada día el Señor añadía al grupo los que iban siendo salvos.”
Propósito
El propósito del fin de semana ACTS es invitar a los participantes a una relación nueva o más profunda con el Señor y con otros hombres y mujeres de fe, a través de la Adoración y la oración diaria; el crecimiento en Comunidad como miembros del Cuerpo de Cristo; la Teología que anima a un mayor estudio de nuestra fe y de la Palabra de Dios; y la promoción de la virtud del Servicio a nuestro Señor y a los demás.
Meta
Un retiro ACTS busca cumplir con las directrices del Concilio Vaticano II y los objetivos del Código de Derecho Canónico de 1983, enfatizando la “Comunidad y el Cuidado Pastoral” dentro de la parroquia; que los participantes experimenten el amor y la alegría de Dios durante el fin de semana y regresen a la parroquia con un amor más profundo unos por otros y el deseo de involucrarse más en la comunidad de fe parroquial. Aunque es un retiro basado en la fe católica, ¡todas las denominaciones son bienvenidas!
Costo
El costo es de $250, que incluye un depósito de inscripción de $125. El saldo se paga al llegar el jueves por la tarde a Holy Trinity, antes de la salida. Este costo cubre todas las comidas, el hospedaje y el transporte entre el centro de retiros y Holy Trinity.
