GOOD SHEPHERD REGISTRATION INFO (FALL 2026)

The Good Shepherd Program at Holy Trinity is a beautiful and highly sought-after faith formation experience. Due to its hands-on, Montessori-style approach and small class sizes (only 10 students per session), space is very limited, and classes fill very quickly.
To ensure a smooth enrollment process, we are opening registration in three phases:- Early Registration 1 (July 13, 2026): Open to children of current catechists and classroom assistants. The registration link will be emailed directly.
- Early Registration 2 (July 27, 2026): Open to returning families who were enrolled in the Good Shepherd program last year. The registration link will be emailed directly.
- General Registration (August 5, 2026): Open to new families. Registration will open online at 10:00am.
Please note that due to the small class sizes, many Good Shepherd classes are already full from early registration. We understand this can be disappointing, and we appreciate your understanding as we prioritize volunteers and returning families.
If your preferred Good Shepherd class is full:- We encourage you to add your child to the waitlist
- Please also register for one of our Traditional Elementary Faith Formation classes
Our Traditional Elementary classes will be centered around the Bible and instruction is tailored to help children explore Scripture in engaging, age-appropriate ways. It’s a wonderful alternative for families who may not secure a spot in the Good Shepherd program.

GOOD SHEPHERD DESCRIPTION
Catechesis of the Good Shepherd (CGS) is a unique and beautiful faith formation program for children, rooted in Scripture, the liturgy of the Church, and the educational philosophy of Montessori.
Designed especially for young children, CGS invites them into a deep, personal relationship with Jesus — the Good Shepherd — through hands-on experiences and quiet reflection. Sessions take place in a peaceful, specially prepared space called the Atrium, where children can explore their faith at their own pace using child-sized materials and real-life symbols from the Church’s liturgy.
In the Atrium, children might:- Work with a miniature altar to learn about the parts of the Mass
- Hear and wonder about stories from the Bible, like the Parable of the Good Shepherd
- Light a candle and spend time in silent prayer
