EDGE DESCRIPTION
EDGE is Holy Trinity's middle school youth ministry for students in grades 6–8, designed to meet teens where they are and lead them closer to Christ. Through fun, faith-filled nights packed with real conversation, powerful prayer, and genuine community, EDGE helps teens discover what it means to be Catholic in today’s world.

We're looking for enthusiastic, committed young adults and adults to walk with our youth as small group leaders. We call these individuals Core Members, as they serve a central role in journeying with our teens. Edge is held upstairs in the Faith Formation Gathering Area.
What does a normal Edge night entail?
A normal Edge session usually follows the following format:- Opening Prayer
- Thorns & Roses - Small group sharing of weekly highs/lows
- Fun Game / Activity (ideally to tie into the theme)
- Proclaim - The main message of the night
- Small Group Discussion
- Prayerful Reflection
What does being in a small group look like?
What if my child doesn’t know anyone?
No worries at all! For students who don’t list any friend requests, we do our best to group them with others from the same school or area so they’ll see some familiar faces. EDGE is all about building community, and we’re intentional about helping every teen feel welcome and included from day one.
Does Holy Trinity offer any additional events/groups for middle schoolers?
Absolutely!- The Edge Retreat is our annual offsite weekend retreat for middle schoolers to continue growing in faith and Christocentric community surrounded by the beautiful Texas Hill Country. The 2026 Edge Retreat will be held February 27th - March 1st, 2026 at Deer Creek Camp in Medina, TX. Registration dates and cost TBA.

- Holy Trinity is excited to return to Camp in 2026! Life Teen will inform parishes of their week of camp late November 2025. To learn more about Life Teen summer camps, click here.
- Little Women is a beautifully Catholic girls club. Through engaging discussions, hands-on activities, and service projects, girls in grades 6–8 are invited to explore what it means to be a daughter of God and a light to the world—while building strong, faith-filled friendships along the way.
